Carter's First... Master Pancake Rehearsal

Had the guys over to rehearse on Sunday morning. Made it complete by eating pancakes before the rehearsal began. Carter chilled in his swing while the guys made jokes. They are preparing for "Bring It On" - complete with cheer leading routine (haven't seen it yet but hear it's AWE-some).

Carter's First... Movie at the Theater

That's right! The Alamo Drafthouse has "Baby Days" where you can bring your baby to a movie before 2pm and if he cries they won't kick you out! Awesome! Carter's first Baby Day movie was "Kick Ass". I highly recommend it!

Yes, it has taken us 7 1/2 weeks to finally get Carter in his tub for bath time. It has been sponge baths up until now. Good news: He *loved* it! And PugPuggy was there to cheer him on (I think she was just glad it was bath time for him and not her)!

It's amazing how many "firsts" this guy will have. Not sure I'll be able to document them all but I can try!

This past weekend was exciting (not in a good way) when my symptoms of mastitis and thrush became very clear. I was wondering why nursing was so incredibly painful for me and not for others. Talk about being baptized by fire into Motherhood. Luckily I went to the doctor on Monday and now I (and Carter too) are on meds and probiotics! Yay immunity! Feeling much better now but not 100%.
